Back To Basics

Well I have been thinking a lot about this new year and what goals I wanted to set for myself. I haven't had the time until now to really sit down and write them out. One word I keep thinking about and keep trying hard at is, simplicity. As I have started my dietitian program we have had to start right at the beginning of basic nutrition. I tend to quickly get overwhelmed with all the amazing blogs, recipes, newest food item to cook with, cooking with meat is the best, only eat vegan, start juicing, only organic, and the latest supplement that we MUST have to have immediately. That's why I have really enjoyed all my classes. We went back to the basics. Now it seems that nutrition is simple and easy. If you feed your body what is needs, exercise a little portion control, then to me you are doing pretty good in my book. Here are a couple charts and things I have been really using and applying. Remember this stuff is simple, no new sweet trick to loose 20 lbs in 1 day. It is simple, sweet and to the point.

The portions on this should fit nicely on an ikea kids plate.

Kids Nutrition

Every day they should have:

3 servings of veggies

2 servings of fruit

3 servings of whole grains

3 servings calcium rich foods

(of course lean meat source of proteins, fats, and fibers too)

For me I wasn't even close to feeding Wes all of this in one day. So we quickly made some changes. The hardest one for us is the 3 servings of veggies each day. My amazing sister Jenna recently posted a kid friendly green smoothie. I quickly jumped on that to get one of my servings done within a smoothie. Genius. Here is the

2012 BIG NEWS

So far this year is turning out to be a great year. One huge item of business is Garrett and I bought our first house. We were going through all the paperwork and processing before Christmas and just got word of an actual closing date. January 16th, woo-who. We purchased the home when it was in the middle of construction, and it has been a fun process to see the house get finished off. The house will be finished on the 12th and we will be moving in on the 21st. Hopefully after we move this will break our moving every 6 months record. We are very excited and feel so blessed that we are able to get our very own home.

Christmas in California

Once we got to California I realized we still have not taken Wes to see Santa. I felt like the worst mom ever. Every time I have tried I was to inpatient to wait so we ended up never going. So Christmas eve day where were we, standing a the longest line waiting to see Santa. Luckily we came early and Garrett stood in line while Wes and I finished some shopping. So about an hour later, $23 poorer we left with our picture of Wes screaming on Santa's lap. Maybe next year he'll like him.

Do you see that line? We were up by the front and it still took an hour.

The food

We ate at all our Favorite Restaurants. Our list includes, several trips to La Cocina, Stone fire, and Wahoos. The best food you can possibly get though is his moms good cooking. I don't think I ever stopped eating the entire trip.

Hollywood

Every time we come into town we always try to go down to LA and do something fun. So this trip we decided to hike the Hollywood sign. It was a good hike. Wes loved it for about 5 min and he was done. It took us about a hour to get up to the sign. m It was mainly flat with little inclines here and there. It was really amazing being that close to the Hollywood sign, and the views for LA from up there were so beautiful.

Christmas Eve

Wesley really loved Christmas this year. He didn't completely understand but he was so happy. Our Christmas Eve was magical. All the nieces came up with the program that night. They worked on it all day.

How cute is that. Before this we did this we had a delicious dinner, acted out the Nativity and got in our Christmas Jammies. One of my favorite traditions they have is Orphy the Elf. He usually comes by during our program, and drops off some presents and a special Santa Letter. This letter is directly from Santa. He talks about each kids that is there and their families about how the year went. Santa new about baseball games, dance recitals, and all sorts of things. This is so cute to see each child just light up when Santa mentions them in the letter. I am going to carry on these tradition for sure.

Towards the end of the week we took off to Bakersfield to spend time with Eric and Carlee and get some work done on our car. Wesley helped Jayden with his roller blades. He loved his helmet.

Then we packed our bags and headed home Thursday night. Just in time for all of us to get sick. That's when you know I guess. Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year.

December Break

After I finished finals we could all now focus on Christmas. Yes me going back to school is a family affair. So with that, we started making a list of all the stuff we wanted to do before heading down to California to spend Christmas with the Fuller Family. We did almost everything we wanted to do.

We got to have all the girls spend the night so we made a village.

To finish the night off we watched a movie. Wes lasted until the popcorn was all done.

The Zoo

I know going to The Zoo Lights is a fun tradition to do around Christmas time, but I don't really get it. You don't even see animals, and you pay to walk around and look at lights of animals. So, we just went to the zoo in the morning and got to see both. We saw all the outlines of all the lights, and we got to actually see the real animals too. Perfect best of both worlds. We went with the Peterson. Our two little guys were in heaven.

All of us were spending Christmas out of state so before we all left we did a little Christmas Party. We ate lots of yummy food, played the famous white elephant game, and acted out the Nativity.

Hawaii

Garrett and I just got back from Hawaii a couple of weekends ago. We were gone for almost a week and left Wesley home with Nana and Aunt Jaime. Thank you guys so much for taking such good care of him. :) we had such a blast. We went with Garrett's parents and one of Garrett's sisters, Kacee and her hubby Tyler. It is truly paradise out there. We actually did a lot too. We laid out by the beach and pool a lot, we went zip lining, and took a snorkel trip to Molokini. We also ate at the most amazing restaurants. I typically am not a fish person other then sushi ( i know that's a little backwards) but the fish out there is so fresh and delicious. The best place we ate was called Mama's Fish house. The menu would tell you when the fish was caught, on what side of the island, and by what captain. That was a little piece of heaven right there.

THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It really makes you reflect on your year and realize how truly blessed you are. Once you start thinking of all the things you are Thankful for the list just continues on and on. The you are suddenly overwhelmed with gratitude. This Thanksgiving was no exception. I am so grateful for everything that this year has brought to our family.

This Thanksgiving was filled with family, fun and lots of eating. We had our dinner over at my Aunt Lori's house. There were so many kids between all the cousins families. It was a blast. Lori and Stewart had a blow up house, and a train they attached to a quad and rode around the neighborhood. The kids loved it!

Wesley 18 Months

This month marked a huge event, Wesley turned 18 months. YAY!! We are having so much fun together. I seriously can't get enough of him. He cracks me up all day long. I love, love this age. He is talking so much, and is just so busy all the time. It is so fun that we can actually communicate now. It feels good to have him finally respond to me. He actually understands me and will say things back too. It mostly is in his language but he throws in a few words here and there so I get what he is saying.

Top 15 need to knows about Wesley

1. He loves "big Cars"
2. points at all airplanes and says "airplane" in the sky even if they are just a little spec in the air.
3. Loves to cuddle in the mornings with his milky, blanky, mommy and Einsteins (moms favorite thing in the world)
4. Loves to be the center of attention and when he knows he is, he is such a ham
5. Some of his favorite phrases are, where is duke? where is dadda? Oh man. Oh no. lets eat! go outside. (and of course) NO!
6. Surprises me everyday with new words and sounds he makes and says. I don't think I have even taught him 1/2 of the things he comes up with.
7. Loves any puzzles
8. Always keeps his tongue out
9. Loves getting his hair done
10. Thinks any group of kids is "Abbie"
11. He eats almost anything but is very picky when it comes to his hands. He has to have them clean or he gets very mad.

I just love this little guy. He had his 18 month check up and he has gained 2 lbs. Yay he weighs 22 lbs now. He has always been such a lightweight so any weight gain is something to take note on. The best part of him being 18 months is him being able to go to nursery. I love being able to attend a church for the full 3 hours. I have really been missing it. The halls are great but I was pretty stoked when I could actually go inside and hear the messages.

We love Wesley and can't believe how fast he is growing up.

The Events of Last Weekend

This past weekend was a FIRST for the Fuller family. Garrett went to California with Wesley without me for our nephews baptism. I want everyone to know this was Garrett's idea. I found out I had a couple exams this next week and knew I wouldn't be prepared if I went to California. So Garrett took Wesley and gave me a weekend to myself of mostly studying and some relaxation.

I didn't just study. I Was sick of studying one day so I decided to go get my hair cut. So I chopped it all off. I also hit up the friends and family GAP sale. Thanks Emma for my lovely coupon, and even saw a movie. I was so happy last night when my boys came back though. After a day to myself all I wanted was my family to come back home the rest of the weekend. I am so grateful that i have such a wonderful little boy and a husband who loves me and supports me on this crazy going back to school venture.

Happy Halloween: Our Weekend

Can I just say I love Halloween. I always say I'm going to put on the best Halloween Party ever, but I never do. This year I got kinda close. here is what our Halloween was like. Halloween Night was so fun. This was Wesley's first time trick or treating. He loved doing it, and once he got his first piece of candy he would just eat that for a couple houses. We went over to Brad and Jaime's neighborhood to do it with all the cousins. They truly live in the best neighborhood ever. It was nice not having to bundle up on Halloween this year. Coming from Utah this is usually a time for first or second snow fall. So glad I'm not experiences that right now. Another fun fact, apparently my new favorite candy bar is Butterfingers. I'm pretty sure I ate 2 king sized candy bars worth. I loved them last night. Sorry these pictures are all just poor quality. Wes was not wanting anything to do with taking a picture either. So most are action shots that failed miserably. Oh well. You will get the concept of how fun our night was. Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween.

On Sunday we had Brad and Jaime's Family over for a Halloween Sunday Dinner. My mom and I did the dinner. Our menu: jack-o-lanter pizza, spider pizza, twice baked potatoes that were witches, a yummy salad, and Dracula's dentures for dessert.

Saturday night we hung out with friends and were going to carve pumpkins. We ate chili, cornbread and the yummiest desserts ever. We were suppose to carve pumpkins but all of us were just chatting away and didn't get around to it. It was a really fun night. Thanks Jade for your delicious chili and hosting a fabulous night. And a thanks to Rachel and my one picture I was able to come up with this college of the night. Rachel being the cute teacher that she is, brought crafts for the little boys. They made these cute pumpkins with Halloween stickers on them.

Fall Festivities

This October has been all about outings. We have gone to a pumpkin patches with friends, The Boo Zoo, and another zoo called Wildlife Zoo. All so fun and Wesley had a blast at all of them. Of course I didn't take the best or that many pictures but here is what we have been up to these past couple weeks.

Vertuccio Farm. A bunch of us got a Groupon passes and went. I was so excited to go because its fall and fall is so fun. Well, in AZ going to these outdoor pumpkin farms isn't the most fun. It was still like 100 degrees. we were dying of heat but all the boys had so much fun. I love hanging with all these girls. Look at all our boys playing together. They all are pregnant with another boy too. I know I missed the memo on that one but Wes will just have even more boys to play with. :)

Next up the Phoenix Boo Zoo. I went with Rachel and Parker. Wes loves Parker.

Some of our friends from Utah came down and we met up with them at the Wildlife Zoo. Their little girl Naomi and Wes aree going to get married one day. :) This Zoo is a little bit of a trek to get too, but so worth it. The animals were so close. The aquarium was pretty sweet too. Of course we didn't get a group pic, and the pictures we have are mostly of Wes, you will still get the idea of how awesome this zoo is.

Happy 30th Birthday Garrett

The most amazing husband in all the world just turned the big 3 0. Well, on October 4th he did. So it was time to celebrate. I threw him all of his "favorite things" party. All our family came. Some of his favorite things included: Chevy's salsa, grilled Carne Asada tacos, banana cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory, and my famous guacamole. :) I think its famouse because its bomb.com

The next weekend Garrett and I took off for a surprise getaway to San Francisco. It was so fun. San Francisco is the most amazing city that is full of things to do all hours of the day. We just walked everywhere, ate out every meal, tried to sleep in, and went to movies every night. Garrett celebrated his new age in style. Our hotel was gorgeous and right in Union Square. One highlight was we went to a diners, drive-ins and dives place we found. Garrett loves this show so we found a restaurant called Rocco's. It was amazing!!!! Such a hole in the wall but the best Italian food. It was so good it tasted almost light. Weird huh? Best vacation ever. My sweet Mom watched Wesley for us while we played all weekend. Thanks MOM!!!

Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day was full of amazing events. The first one was, the celebration Berlyn's Baptism. What a huge step she took, and She was beautiful in her white dress! Then on Sunday we got to celebrate the newest addition's Soren and Molli's baby blessings. Than gave each of them such incredible blessings. We were so happy we were able to share these events with family. We love you all.

The Move

Here is a true update on what we are doing. We have decided to pack up our things and move down to AZ. We have lived in Utah for almost 4 years. Utah will always be so special to us. It was where Wesley was born, and we had a wonderful first year of his life there. We have met some amazing friends that we will cherish their friendship years to come. Basically, Utah was good to us. Well, I hated the winters, I really never got use to that. Anyways, Garrett and I have been wanting some kind of a change. We just didn't know what really. Garrett has been working from home and its been great but we had this freedom to do something else. We decided to move back to AZ to be closer to family and for me to finish up with school. I feel so lucky and blessed that I have been able to pursue school full time now, with Garrett's help at home with Wesley, and all my fabulous family around. It just worked out perfect. So, after much prayer and thought we packed up and headed down south to AZ.
Since we have been here we have basically melted away. I have never felt more tired in my life. We all sleep so much. Even Wes. We have basically lived in pools, splash pads, and indoor anything. We have hung out with friends, and family. We even got to see Jenna and Dennis. They came in from NY last weekend.
About 3 weeks ago I started school. It feels so crazy to be back in a classroom, but I am loving every minute of it. I have decided to finish up at ASU in their Dietetic program. I am so excited. I have never been more busy in my life by being a student, and a mom but have never been happier. We are so grateful for these fun changes and what the future will hold.

The Rest of July

This part of the month is kinda a blur. I also had Jenna's family staying with us the rest of the month. We had so much fun, but I kept procrastinate packing up my house. I was so sad to live Utah in the summer. Utah is one of the most beautiful places to live and we had to move right when the weather was PERFECT. Here is a recap of what we all did.

Changes

Well the Fuller Family has gone through a couple changes in our lives. We don't live in UT anymore, we have moved to AZ. I know AZ right? I always said I would never move back, well we did. We showed up August 1st, the hottest time of the year. My first update I will be going backwards. Our last month in Utah was amazing. We had visitors for the entire month. It was kinda CRAZY but so fun and I couldn't have moved without all my family around.

Happy Fathers Day

PART 2: LA ZOO

We spent one days with Scott, McCall, Jack & Clara. It was so fun. We were so lucky that Scott was on a break so we could have the whole family together. I have been wanting to go to the zoo so bad with Wes but in Utah it has been a little cold. So I think I was more excited then the kids to go.

to start this exciting day we met for lunch. We had this yummy greasy, delicious food called OiNKSTERS, the slow fast food. Sucha cute name huh.

Our 2 Week Road Trip: Part 1

We were heading down to California to go help Carrie, Garrett's sis who just had twins, with her babies. I did a couple nights of the feedings. I have a new found respect for moms who have twins. So anyways, As we were heading down to Cali we decide to take a minor detour and head to AZ. It was a quick detour but so nice to see the family. More on AZ later. Then we headed on to California. We had a blast just kickin it in Valencia. We haven't been back there in forever so it was really nice just to hang. We ate at all our favorite restaurants, enjoyed the fabulous weather, and just really hung out.

St. George Getaway

This past weekend we wanted to escape this horrible weather and go visit some of our best friends, Juan and Shealee. They moved down to St. George almost a year ago and we have seen them throughout the year but never have just spent a weekend with them. Well it was time. The boys had a blast golfing a couple a days, and the ladies had fun shopping, hanging and eating out. The weather was so perfect too. Thanks guys for having us. Of course I didn' take pictures really but I did some take some with my phone, so enjoy.

Wes was so scared of this puppy. Every time he saw him his big lip was out and he would cry hysterically. It was so sad but kinda cute.

Wesley's 1 year old Update

Wesley has turned 1. Wow I can't believe I have a 1 yr old. Everyone always says this but time has flown by. Its so weird to think a year ago I had him. Here is an update on Wesley:

1. He can say: Duke, Momma, Dada, No, with finger pointed out, stop, & uh oh
2. He has taken up to 8 steps. I try to video it but miss him every time
3. He can stand all by himself
4. He can climb up and down stairs. Down has been a little tricky but he's got it now
5. He eats everything, not picky at all
6. He LOVES being in his crib more then anything. He just bounces off the bumpers and thinks he is so funny
7. Favorite show is the backyardagains
8. Despises getting his diaper changed. He will cry and scream, so hard every time. It takes 2 people to change him. he just started this a couple of weeks ago.
9. Has 2 blankets that he has to go to sleep with. Neither are the cute minky ones I bought for him but just simple cotton ones passed down to him from Davis.
10. Loves to entertain. He knows how to put on a show when people are around.
11. He is fast to adapt. He already is back to himself after taking his bottle away. It took him about 4 days.
12. He is always so busy. Even in his car seat, he is moving the canopy back and forth the entire drive.
13. Only takes naps in his crib. I think he is just to curious and doesn't want to miss anything
14. Can give kisses

We love this little guy more than anything. This year has been one of our best. The joy and the love this little guys brings to our family is so great. Everyday gets more and more fun because I see more and moreof his personality coming out. I love you Wesley.

We were so lucky to have Jenna and the kids start staying with us. They came out for Marks graduation and then stayed through Easter and then Wesley's bday party. We had a blast. The best part is Jenna is an avid photographer, so I now have alot of pictures to blog with. Here is our Easter Weekend summarized. To start with, I left to AZ for Rachel's wedding just for the day. It was a beautiful wedding. This was the only picture I got from the wedding.

Garrett in Vegas

So one morning Garrett's hair was a little slicked back. So he went with. This is his hair on the way to the mall. He did it as a joke and to see what his family would say. No one said anything. They kinda looked at him weird and just moved on. They were way to nice to tell him how ugly his hair looked. Then Carrie saw it and was honest with him. after Carrie broke the ice everyone was like oh good that was a joke, hahahaha

Then when we were in AZ. He wanted to try it again. To see who would say something. The second we saw Jaime she made fun of him. He felt like his joke was funny once again.

Hello. If anyone out there still reads my blog you may have noticed it has been under a little construction lately. I have been playing with the settings and trying to give it a little face lift. Anyways, I really need to update as well so here it goes. This is what we have been doing this past couple months.

In March sometime, I cant even remember when, we headed down to AZ for a week, and then headed up to Vegas to go to the Mountain West Tournament on our way back. Garrett went and I just kicked it with family. The weather was perfect in both places. We had a blast. Wes had a couple of firsts.

I did it so I could actually help Jenna out. I tried to do everything I could remember of what I wished I could do once I had Wes. So, I basically got to spend most my time entertaining Davis. The weather was warm a couple of the days so we took full advantage.

I spent Valentines with my two most favorite Boys. We had a great linner, where Wes kept throwing up. I gave him rye bread for the first time. I don't think he was the biggest fan of it. Then I got take the red eye out to see Jenna and meet Chloe for the first time.

Birthday Weekend

Can I just say that I have the best husband in the whole world. Every year he goes above and beyond for my Birthday and Valentines. This year he and a buddy surprised me and his wife Kallie with a trip to Vegas. They even worked out people to watch our kids, planned dinners, shows, and even scheduled time to go shopping. So the day before he told me all nonchalant what we were doing so I started packing and off we went to Vegas.

Once we got their we had a blast. We saw Ka, which was cool but kinda weird. I always wonder what these people were on when they created shows like that. Anyways, and we saw Blue Man group which was so awesome. I think the best part was sleeping in. I couldn't get over that I could really stay in bed for as long as I wanted. It was the first time I left Wes so I was missing him like crazy.

UPDATE NEEDED

McCall's intown...

Its sad that I only have one picture of her staying with me but i guess we were to busy having so much fun. I loved having McCall, Jackson, and Clara stay with us. Wes loved watching them play. Jackson would show us how fast he could run, and Wes would just crack up. Jackson would just keep running so Wes could keep laughing. he probably ran a couple miles that day. :) My favorite thing Jackson would said is "when are we going to Old McDonald?" meaning McDonald's to play on the jungle gym. I just love little kids. Thanks for staying with us, we love you.

Update

So I finally updated my blog. I am up to date on everything. Its sad because this year I really only made 1 New years Resolution. It was to be more organized with my pictures. I haven't even thought about any update until now January 20th. Maybe Ill just start over in February with the goal thing. This year should be a pretty great one. Already so much is changing. We just found out today we are moving. I know the we are moving AGAIN. We have moved 5 times in Less then 4 years. I guess we like change. Anyways, we are moving and need to be out of this place by the 1st of February. So the next 2 weeks are going to be crazy. Also, Garrett is changing up his job. He is just going to work from home now. Hopefully we wont kill each other. Come February (my favorite month of year) everything should slow down, and we are just getting use to our new routine.

An update for Wes, this week he is learning to copy me. I put my hands above my head and so "SO BIG" then he does it. He doesn't talk but he does the actions. Here is my little boy:

Baby Showers

This month so far has been the month for baby showers. Jolynn, Annie and myself threw one for our friend Emily at the beginning of the month, and then we had a surprise one for Shea last week.

CHRISTMAS

This year for Christmas we mixed it u p a bit. My mom came out to Utah. It just kinda worked out that all the siblings couldn't get together at the same time so I my mom decided to just come up to Utah and spend it with us. We were so excited. This was the first time ever, that I have just stayed put and didn't travel anywhere. I did miss my siblings so much and wished we could be all together though.
When my mom got up here I wanted to do all the Christmas activities Utah has to offer. We went and saw the Temple lights, We drove through Thanksgiving point at their light show, we went up to Park city to the outlets, and had a fun time being lazy in our pj's and eating a ton of food.

Christmas Eve night we spent it with Kaycee and Tyler and their extended family on the Allred side. This was great because it was so fun to see all the little ones acting out the nativity scene, we got to hang out with family, and eat a huge traditional Christmas Dinner.

December Update

The month of December, we did a lot of fun things, and Wes did a lot of firsts. To begin, I could spike Wesley's hair now. This is fun because now I have to do his hair in the morning. He also can sit in a shopping cart all by himself. That was huge. Now I don't have to lug around the car seat all day. Huge milestone for me. He also really discovered the TV. He will just look up at it and watch it forever. He now can pull himself up so he is standing. When Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is on he will start to dance. So cute. Maybe he will busting gout the windmill sooner then we all think. :) Its pretty cute until I realise how close he is to that TV and try to get him off. Another funny time, I walked in to get Wes from a nap and found him standing. I was so scared when I opened the door. He was happy but then he started to cry because I ran out to grab my camera.
We also did a lot of Christmas activities. We went to a fun gingerbread house contest with our play group. We went to a live Nativity Scene. This was amazing! You will see form the pictures Garrett is next to a goat, and I tried to take a picture of the camels. It was the coolest thing. I have never seen a real camel before. They are gigantic. Wes saw snow for the first time. It was so cute, he always tries to grab it. Lastly, the month of December I was obsessed with making homemade oreos with candy cane. i made like hundred different batches.

Thanksgiving

I feel so bad that I haven't posted my Thanksgiving pictures yet. I have so much to be grateful for and feel so blessed this year.

We went down to California and spent it with Garrett's family. We also had Scott and McCall come up and spend it with us too. Garrett's mom was so happy to have more people coming to her Thanksgiving and invited them in with open arms.

I didn't take a ton a pictures but this is what I have come up with

1. I am so Thankful for family this year. I love my little family. For Garrett who always works above and beyond everyday so I can stay home with Wes. I couldn't of asked for a better husband, best friend and dad for Wesley.
2. For Wesley. I'm grateful for Wesley and for the joy that he is. Always full of smiles, and his happy personality. I can't even imagine our life without him.
3. Grateful for my siblings. I have really learned a lot about the importance and power of sibling relationships. I love my brothers and sisters so much and couldn't have gotten through his year without them.

Arizona

I was down in AZ for a couple weeks this month. We had a lot of things to celebrate so we all made a trip out of it. Jenna flew from NY, McCall drove over to Cali, I flew from Utah and Jaime lives there. All the family was together, minus a couple husbands. We had so much fun being together and watching all our kids get to know each other and play. It was so fun being around so much family.

A highlight from all the pictures above was going to Schnepf Farms. We basically had the entire park to our selves. It was so fun. Also, Davis and Jackson playing with Barbies. Jenna kept correcting Davis from playing barbies to playing people. It was so funny. Also, we celebrated my moms birthday. We took her out to Cheesecake, and treated her to a massage.

Wesley loved his uncle Brad.

Of course the main event, Abbie's Baptism. She was beautiful! I can't believe she is eight. Then, the day Jenna and I left Jaime had their little girl, Penny. I was so bummed I missed it. can't wait to meet her!

I met up with Carli, Stuart and Morgan for lunch one day at Rosa's. Here are all our babies. So crazy, we all have known each other since Elementary School. Now we all have little babies. I'm sad because I saw so many of my friends this trip and didn't even take a pic. Maybe next time.

Halloween Weekend Wrap up

On Friday We went to the famous Zagg Halloween party. OK, so clearly we are the Spartan Cheerleaders from SNL right? (If you have read this last sentence and not understand what we are please go look it up) The reason I say that is a lot of people just thought we were random cheerleaders. I felt so old...
The best part is they had a costume contest, and guess who won? My little monster. He won that gigantic horse. I have no idea where to put it in my house but I was so proud.

Then came Halloween Day. I have been dreading this day. I signed up for a 1/2 Marathon when I was ready to get back into shape after having Wes back in August. I have been training but didn't know if I really wanted to run it. Well, with some motivation from friends and family I did it. I can finally cross this goal off my list. Pretty sure I never want to do a Marathon again.

Then on Halloween we had a little get together with some friends. This is the only picture from that night. What a cute couple huh?

We had a great Halloween. I hope you all did as well. Now its off to AZ for a couple weeks.

New York

These pictures are just from a couple days. We always forgot to take pictures when we were doing something cool. We tried to do everything, even with 2 strollers, subways, and a pregnant sister. I think we almost did. Here is what we did; We went on the double Decker bus, Ground Zero, went to the Broadway, In The Heights, ate yummy food everywhere, went to the Statue of Liberty, Town Square, Little Italy, did lots of shopping, and Central park. I had a blast. Thanks Jenna for letting me hang out with you for a week. I can't wait to come back!!

Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend was very fun and very eventful. We had Garret ts parents come in town so we spent a lot time up in Heber. We tried to fit it all in. Swiss Days, BYU game, canning peaches (I know what, I can stuff) BBQ, movies, and lots of yummy food.

Right before opening game. Wes and I ended up not going to the game because it was so HOT. So we went shopping instead.

Worst Mom Ever

Yesterday was a rough day with Wes. He just didn't want to nap EVER. I feel bad because I don't really know what was wrong with him. He is drooling a ton so maybe he's teething. But its kinda early. SO basically I have no idea what was wrong i just try to think of something to explain it and make me feel better. I don't know if other people do that. I guess it just makes me feel like a better mom to think of cause to explain it. Anyways. On his third nap of the day he started crying again just 10 min or so into his nap. I'm like OK, this time I m going to let him cry for 15 min and then go check on him. Well, the crying continued which had been normal but I was feeling like I should go check on him. I opened his door and he had gotten under his bumper with his bead against his rod iron crib. I felt so bad. His little head was all red from rubbing against it. So, his next nap came around and I was paranoid about him doing that again. So I would check on him like every 5 min. just to make sure. Of course he rolled his way under the bumper again. BUT this time when I went in he was smiling at me. It was almost like he knew what he was doing and just wanted out of his crib. So I didn't feel so bad taking a picture of it because he was so happy he did it again. :)

That leads me into me next update about Wes. He is a roller now. He rolls everywhere. Sometimes I put him in his crib for a nap and when I go and get him out, his head is in the opposite direction. My days of just leaving him on my ottoman are coming to a fast close.

Next, he found his toes. Its so cute. He always is playing with them .

When he sleep he always puts his hands in his mouth, and turns to his left side.

Lastly, he can grab things. He understands that if he grabs something he can put it in his mouth. He loves toys now. The funny part is when he gets over a toy he already throws it. It doesn't go to far yet but when he is done with it, he is done.

My New Obsession...

This is my everyday snack. You can get these at Costco. They are so good and taste really sweet. This is my go to when I have a sweet tooth which, in my day is about every hour or so. :)

These next item I eat for breakfast. I love it because it keeps me full. Its just my version of a fruit parfait. Its yummy yummy. April gave me the idea in Hawaii and I just used stuff I had around my house.

HAWAII

We had the best trip to Maui. We stayed in Lahaina. It was beautiful. Everyday we would find a different beach to go to and snorkel at. We were on a quest to find waves to buggy board on or to surf but couldn't really find any. I guess it is the off season. I loved this because we really got to see a lot of Hawaii.

Thank you Devin and April for inviting us to go with you. We had sucha blast!!! You have such sweet little boys. Gavin (aka my little buddy who never left my side) I miss you already, and Drew,can't wait for you and Wes to meet up and to play together soon.

Kaanapali Beach

Black Rock beach. We look good being parents of twins. BUT I'm grateful that were not.

We swam with these guys everyday.

I found this funny because everyone was just swimming around at this beach.

We loved our daily snow cone fix. We couldn't get enough of them especially with the ice cream at the bottom.

This was at our resort beach. The babies did so good and just chilled on the beach with us.

One night we went to a Luau. It was really cool to see. Gavin and I trying to do the hula.

April and I got these bottomless Pina Coladas. They were delicious.

Here is the BIG beach. So, we meant some locals at a taco stand one day and they told us to go see Big Beach and Little beach. These beaches were located on the other side of the Island in Wailea. So of course we went and come to find out the big beach was pretty sweet. It actually had big waves, but they broke to close to shore to really do anything with them. BUT the small beach is and "ADULT" beach. I wonder if those locals were sending us their on purpose. :)

Road To Hana

Garrett and I did this towards the end of our trip. We kept getting mixed reviews on whether to go or not to go. We decided to go because we needed a break from the sun, and Wes could actually take naps. Cars always put our little guy to sleep. So we ventured out at 6 am to start our road trip around the Island. It was amazing.

So after we reached Hana, most people turn around and head back. We didn't know this small detail and kept going on the loop around the Island. Can I just say not all parts of Hawaii are pretty. We entered their desert terrain and saw wild goats, pigs and drove on the worst road possible. It sucked.

Now that I have done the ENTIRE road to Hana, I definitely recommend doing it but turning around at Hana and go back the way you came. :)

Seattle Washington

About 2 weeks ago Garrett, Wes and myself left for our last vacation of the summer. We were off to Maui. We first flew into Seattle to pick up The Jolley family. We had a day to kill in Seattle so we went sight seeing.

Garrett was so nice and let Wes and I have his upgrade. I got some nasty looks at first from the other 1st class goers, but once they saw how amazing Wes was they all warmed up to us and started helping out.

Best friends in the making. Their Dads have been best friends since Kindergarten. Lets see if Drew and Wes can top that; Both 3 months old.

Seattle has flowers everywhere. These bouquets were only $5.

Eric & Carlee's Wedding

Garrett's Brother got married this past Sunday. So we were home about a week and hopped on a plane to head back to California. It was Wes's first time flying. He did awesome. They got married up on Pismo Beach. It was so pretty. The drive up the coast was amazing. Congrats to Eric and Carlee. We love you guys.

Newport Beach

The day after the blessing all the Fuller Family left for our annual Newport Beach trip. This is a week of swimming, beaching, eating, playing, laughing, shopping, etc. we had a blast. This was the 3rd little vacation now and Garrett and I were getting much more brave. We actually would let him chill in his little tent and bumbo on the beach. We weren't so paranoid. He would be out with us up at the pool, shopping, you name it, he was right there. I think I just had to let the whole schedule thing out the door. Once I did that I had a much more enjoyable vacation. I actually got in the ocean. Garrett was so proud.

I just love my little boy so much. On our way home from Cali we stopped my our friends house in St. George. Thanks Juan and Shalee for letting us stay with you. Thanks to Juan's mom who taught us the authentic way to make enchiladas. They were delicious.

Wesley's Baby Blessing

San Diego

Well, the first part of July we had a traditional Beach House with my Mom. It was great, we moved the party down south a little to Mission Beach. We were right by the beach and the bay so we had the best of both worlds. It was our first trip with Wes, so needless to say I was very protective. Garrett was even more protective then I was. My mom brought him outside once all bundled up and Garrett IMMEDIATELY grabbed him and took him back inside and said it was to cold for him outside. :) What a cute protective husband.

When we were there we road a sweet roller coaster, rented fun beach stuff and played around in the bay, went on a boat ride, watched Sea World's fire works every night, and hung out with each other.

Top 10 things you need to know about Wesley

1. Wes is such a messy eater in the day. It takes an hour to feed him 4 oz. He is so busy looking around and smiling at the fan, and lights. He swats his bottle out his mouth, causing milk to go everywhere. He really could care less about his bottle.
2. At night he is the best eater. He will sit in the chair with me with, holding his hands together on his chest and down the entire bottle in 20 min flat. That's without a drip of formula anywhere.
3. When he is about to cry he always shows you his big bottom lip first. Its the cutest pout ever.
4. He loves sucking on his fist or his 2 middle fingers. (Just like Clara) He wont take a passy.
5. He loves to sleep with his hands over his head. (Just like mommy)
6. He has learned how to scoot. I will put him down for a nap and when I go in to get him he has scooted all the way to the top of his crib leaving his blanket behind.
7. He falls asleep anywhere.
8. His favorite position to fall asleep is on Moms shoulder with his arm around my neck. I love it. This is my "go to" position if he wont stop crying. It works every time.
9. His eyelids turn red when he is ready for his nap.
10. He is starting to notice his toys. We can get him to smile, kick his feet and move his hands all around when he sees his bugs. He gets so excited.

The 4th Of July

The week leading up to the 4th we had family in town. Aaron's family and mom and dad. It was so much fun. We ate a lot, spent time up in Heber at Aunt Shirley's, and played around in SLC. In Salt Lake we took everyone to temple square. The kids loved it. I haven't been in forever and they have really done some cool things with the visitor centers. We also saw the Legacy movie. Its always so humbling to watch the story of how our church was restored, and to see all the hardships Joseph and all the early saints had to endure. It makes my little world of my little worries seem so petty. After that the family stayed with us couple nights. We had so much fun. Wesley was such a trooper. He was driven, pushed, and held all over town that week. Here are some pictures of our fun week.

All the family left the Friday before the 4th. We all were pretty worn out by that time so we didn't even do anything for the 4th. We let Wesley catch up on much needed sleep and Garrett and I just did take out and watched movies all weekend long. It couldn't have been a better 4th. We did get out of the house to check out the sales on 5th. Not to bad. :)

ECLIPSE

Girls night out. We went and saw eclipse a couple nights ago. It was really good. Probably the best one yet. They must get more money each time because each movie gets better and better. A lot of action. I even think Garrett would enjoy it. Maybe not...

Diners, Drive-ins & Dives

Garrett and I have been really getting into the food network this summer. I watch that and Natgeo all the time. Anyways we have become a huge fan of this reality show. This guy whose name happens to be Guy Fieri, travels all around and finds these hole in the wall restaurants and does an entire segment on them to show why they are so good. Some of these places look amazing but, located in the most random places. We searched and found the places in Utah where he has been. Going out to dinner is so fun, but going out to dinner with a purpose and see how truly amazing it could be is even more fun. Its always fun to try new things. Here is the list for all the people in Utah:

3. Pats BBQ: Salt Lake
4. Ruth's Diner: Salt Lake

There isn't a ton in Utah but that's enough to keep us busy for awhile.

So, our first place we went to was Lone Star. Their fish tacos were amazing. The restaurant atmosphere was so fun. People were drinking out of shoes well actually boots. The salsa, homemade chips, and guacamole were so good too. I highly recommend this place and I know I will be going back real soon.

latest project

i just finished a project that i have needed to do. So the place where we moved into was perfect, except in the master bedroom they painted a wall bright RED. The problem is my bedding is green. So it would make my room look like Christmas all year long. I wasn't that into that idea so I decided to switch it up a bit. I have a slip cover thing for my headboard, with a matching bed skirt. So I decided to make a new slip cover, get a different bed skirt, and make a few pillows to make it all come together. This was really fun. I have really only sewn clothes over and over so making house decorations was a new and exciting thing for me. Here is how it turned out. . .

Summer Fun

well, our summer has started out with a bang. This past week and weekend was so much fun. we had Shalayne and Clayton visit us, we threw a birthday party/going away party for one of my best est friends, and celebrated Father's day with more family and friends. Scott and McCall came over and we had a Father's Day dinner. we had such a fun and exciting weekend. Wes was a champ through the whole thing. He even dropped one of his feedings at night. I'm loving life now. I only have to wake up once a night now. Whoo Hoo!!!

Wes went to his first fashion show last night. Our niece Morgan, got to be in Alyssa's Bridal Prom 2010 fashion show. She got to be part of a fashion camp for Alyssa's and part of it is being in several fashion shows between Utah and Vegas to help show off their new line of prom dresses. (Can we just say genius marketing for Alyssa's!) Morgan did such a fabulous job strutting her stuff on the catwalk. We are so proud of you Morgan.

Alright here is the finished product. I finally got to set up his nursery. Yay!! This was the first thing we did as soon as we got into our new place. Hopefully, these pictures will clear the air. When I describe what his room is I say, "I used oranges, tans, browns, and he has owls all over the place." The response I get is, "oh, so are you doing like a Hooters Themed room?" Here is the finished product of what I have been trying to describe:

I have been a little busy with my new little guy to even think about my blog. He is such a good baby. I am so lucky. He has been sleeping at night about 3 to 4 hours, and with the help of Garrett I even get about a 6 hour stretch in there. I feel great and am loving being a mom. This week is going to be a little overwhelming. We are moving this coming Monday. I have been so stressed about this move. I have been trying to get my house in order but haven't really had any time or the energy to pack and organize. So i just worry about it instead. This past weekend Garrett and I did a lot. With his fabulous parents and sister with her kids coming, and having Scott and McCall here, I think we can pack up my house. I don't know what I would do if they weren't going to be here. Were staying in South Jordan so it isn't to far of a move. I'm so excited though. I have never set up a nursery for Wesley, which has been killing me inside. I can finally see all the fun stuff I got for his room all set up , and he wont be in our office in a bassinet anymore. I have been kinda obsessed with ksl while I was prego. I would always go on there look for deals on sweet pieces of furniture. I have a little collection of stuff i have gotten just sitting in my garage. i can;t wait to see it all in my house. Well, that is what has been going on around here. I will post pics of our new place as soon as I can. ;)

Her is our sweet little boy. He was born 5-5-10 at 2:54 am. He is a Cinco De Maya baby (which is our Anniversary as well. 3 years! not planned to fall on that date) He weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and was 21 in. long. It was a pretty long couple days of labor. I went in Monday night to get everything started due to lack of response of my body. Then Tuesday, they started to Induce me. They broke my water and had pitocin going through me since about 3 am. I wasn't progressing at all really, so we were talking about maybe ending in a c-section. This was about 12noon. Well, 8 hours later I started responding, finally, and then a couple hours after that I got to start pushing. I pushed for 2 1/2 hours until this little beautiful boy was in my arms. Thankfully I was all for an epidural. I would have died being in labor for that long. Now looking back it wasn't really that bad. Seeing my little boy is the most priceless thing. I get teary eyed just thinking about him and realizing and how blessed Garrett and I are to have him in our family. I love him so much and can't wait to see where life takes us. Thank you to all our friends and family who have helped out. I have loved all your emails, text, and calls. We love you.

40 Weeks

Well if any has noticed my counter says, "Go Time!!" Ummm where is the baby, I'm due? Good news is I get induced on Tuesday so at least I know the end is near.
Garrett's parents came in yesterday so they have been hanging out with us. We went to the tulip festival today. Hoping walking around would make my body do something, but it didn't help. I did walk around all the gardens for 2 hours. Big accomplishment for me. I am dead tired now. I'm just sitting here and waiting for this baby to come out. I can't wait to see him and see what he looks like. Tonight Garrett was putting together all his fun toys. We set up his cute swing, bouncer chair, and making sure everything is ready around our house. I'm excited and am getting pretty impatient.

9 Months

I say to people that I am 9 months and they freak out like I'm going to pop any day. No, I am 36 weeks, well actually a day away from being 37 weeks. I can't believe I only have 3 weeks to go. I was looking at my little counter on my blog and can't believe my days are in the low 20's. That's just so crazy!!!!

Garrett surprised me for my birthday/valentines/new baby coming trip to Cancun. I was so excited. It was the most relaxing trip I have ever been on. We did nothing. We didn't even leave our resort and go anywhere. We sat by the ocean everyday and just ate and drank. It was perfect weather and we loved every minute of it. I didn't know how being pregnant would be on a vacation like that but I absolutely loved it!

we made some funny Friends while we were there and they all just couldn't believe that we didn't drink. Me it was obvious but they gave Garrett such a hard time. On my birthday we got a couples massage that was very needed for my back. We even saw a cute couple get married on the beach. We took walks, and just sat a lot. Thank you Garrett for the best vacation.

I'm not going to lie, I wasn't a huge fan of all the many pics we took. I just look so different. Here is me at 7 months. Enjoy. I'll post more after I have more time to edit some. :)

Well, I have had this project that Jaime and I started on at Thanksgiving. I finally came to the conclusion after months of this project sitting in my back corner, and never really thinking about it that I should probably start on it. Due to the fact I came up with the project being a Valentine's theme, and Valentine's is my favorite Holiday. So, I started this week and tonight I finished it!! Yay for me. OK, so lately I feel like in TV they must be running out of actors and actresses or something. All my shows seem to be crossing over one another. Or maybe I should stop being a walking TV guide and not watch so much TV to notice these pointless things. Well, I notice so here you go.

First off what is Vienna from the Bachelor doing on 24?

This chick is just straight up annoying. They do look similar, yes? Both a little masculine in their own ways. Both sometimes pretty but sometimes not so much. I know, one big difference Vienna has the most hideous extensions I have seen though. The other girl has great hair.

Then to confuse me even more, Stefan from Vampire diaries was on 24 as well. Can you imagine if jack had to deal with terrorist Vampires now. I think jack would finally die and 24 would be over. Speaking of that, how many seasons can they really make of 24. I really thought this would be the last one. I love 24 but the plot of terrorists trying to do something to the United States can only last for so long.

Sundance at Park City

Last night we went up to Park city with some friends. we ate a yummy pizza and noodles restaurant and then walked around Main. We really wanted to see some celebrities but didn't. Last night was the last night of the Film Festival so it wasn't to crowed and I'm sure everyone had already moved on to the next party. We had a fun time going into shops and looking around.

I just thought this dog was cool. It was a huge Beethoven!

Observations

Once I became pregnant I thought I was very prepared for the 9 months ahead. Being the youngest I have observed many family members while being pregnant. I thought I had it all figured out. Here is what i didn't know and learning now:

1. How complete strangers feel like it is OK to touch your belly. (not a fan)
2. Every ones lovely advice they freely give. Some people say I look so much bigger than what I should be or I'm so Small for being that far along. I get so confused...
3. How uncomfortable it is to sit. Trying to sit up but realizing your ab muscles have left you.
4. Dreading putting your shoes on or off.
5. Itchy skin
6. The feeling of being full of food and pregnant.
7. Loss of circulation. I will be straightening my hair or something and my arm falls asleep so fast.
8. Loss of sleep already
9. Mental side of growing out of your clothes so fast. Buying new ones and then growing out of those.
10. how incredible it is when you feel your baby move.

I know I have a lot to learn. I do enjoy being pregnant and think it is so amazing that our bodies can really create another human being. I can't wait to meet my little guy.

Our Christmas Road Trip

This year Christmas was wonderful/Exhausting. It was wonderful because we got to see ALL our family. Exhausting because we had to drive all over the place to do it. In the end 100% worth it!!
Our little adventure started out leaving unexpectedly Monday night on the 22nd or something. We were rushed with excitement and stressed to get everything packed and get out of cold Utah . We just wanted to make it to Vegas fast because we heard of a huge storm coming in. So we made it safely. Then Garrett had a surprise "meeting" in AZ the next day. So he flew out early in the morning and I killed a couple hours shopping in Vegas. (real hard right?) Then I picked him up around 4 and we continued down to California. Once we got there we were stayed and spent time with family for about 1 1/2 weeks. We had such a great time. (Pictures will follow after my novel.) We then got a crazy idea to venture down to AZ for New Years. I wanted to surprise my family but of course I just ended up telling them because I was so excited. So we woke up really early New Years Eve day and drove to AZ. After we stayed there a couple days we found out we needed to go back to Orange county for Garrett. So we got in the Car Monday drove to California, stayed a day, and then yesterday drove the rest of the way back home to Utah. We are home finally, both sleep deprived, both sick, both in need of massages, and both feeling like we just lived in the Car all break. BUT most of all BOTH loved every minute of our vacation together!!!!

This has been such a great Christmas this year. Here are some of our highlight outside of the car.

As a huge family we all went and saw the Broadway Mary Poppins. It was a great musical, and all the kids loved it! Here are all the sisters with MOM.

The kids waiting to get the OK to all come down stairs. A very cute tradition. Once they can,they run all over the house looking for their Santa presents. This Santa was clever and hid them all over the house.

The Ilum's got a new pug for Christmas. Her name is Kona, and she is the cutest pug ever! Duke loved her.

Some other highlights of Valencia are

* eating at La Cocina everyday. Not a joke.

*going on morning walks with Garrett

*feeling the sun

*eating Moms Cinnamon rolls.

For New Years Eve night we all got tickets to go watch Joel McHale. He was in AZ, at the Dodge Theater. It was so funny. I really love that guy. After the show we all went over to Cheesecake to bring in the new year. A very fun night. I don't think I have stayed awake past 10 since I have become pregnant. It took me a couple days to recover.

Schools Out For "Winter"

Yay, today I just finished my last final for school. This was a long semester. The first 3 months are like a blur because I was so sick and then the last couple months have been me trying to keep up. I did it, I'm done! Here are some of the things I have been working on...

For almost a year now I have been working at Gowns by Pamela, altering wedding dresses. This has been a great experience for me because I was able to learn how to work on an industrial machine, work on my sewing skills and meet some incredible people. I will miss all my brides and my lovely boss Lisa. :-)

Another exciting thing about this semester was I was an intern at Anthropologie. This was amazing. I mainly worked on the big holiday window display. Now I work on merchandising, visual displays, and just working close with all managers learning how the store runs and operates. In the pic. above, these are called "tie ons". Its crazy, adding this little match and sandpaper make the sale of these candles go way up. That's what I love about Anthropologie, EVERYTHING is so well thought out and done to interest the costume in buying more. Its like a big game.

More "tie Ons," these took about 5 hours to tie all these little ropes onto these candles.

Part of the holiday windows. Go to any Anthropologie and look for these big poofs. They were so fun to make. (not really) We used over 1,000 for our windows. :-)

I don't recommend making a men's dress shirt. This shirt took me so long to construct. I am proud of it though. (Sorry he looks kinda funny with no pants on)

The Best Find

Last Saturday night I find these amazing pants. They are leggings but they look like jeans. Can we say perfect for all the long shirts I have been wearing. I found them at A Pea in the Pod. The other week I finally stopped trying to fit into my normal jeans. I just couldn't squeeze in them and my belly band just wasn't cutting it anymore. So, I started out on my quest to find a cute pair of maternity skinny jeans. Also, I didn't want to spend the money to get designer either. BTW, why are all maternity jeans flare at the bottom. As if your not big enough on top maybe you should balance that with a skinny instead of a huge flare. That was my biggest challenge. Maternity jeans are huge all the way down. I found this great brand called Lilac. I love them. My friend at school creates them and she has them all over the US. They fit great and have a decent price point. Then I found these dream legging pants. I have never been more excited about a pair of pants.

Winter Is Here

Well, last week I was just wondering when we would get snow. Now I wondering when will it stop snowing? I really love the snow when I can stay at home and enjoy it outside my window. I love it at night because everything is so bright and lit up. BUT today for example, I went down to Salt Lake for school and then over to work. I sat in traffic for over 1 1/2 hours. The snow plowers were nowhere to be seen. All the roads were the ugly gray slush and all backed up, and I saw tons of accidents all over. The best part is it is suppose to snow all day tomorrow too. Oh the joys of snow!! Happy Winter Everyone...

Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We had a blast down in AZ. The weather was perfect, the food was to die for, and the company was priceless. I even made the Turkey this year. I found the recipe that we used and Jaime and I seasoned that Turkey up. Our favorite moment is when we announced to my family we are having a boy. So, every year my mom has everyone around the table at our big Thanksgiving dinner to say what they are grateful for. My niece Lillie didn't want to go first and she picked my to start. So I started it off with a bang. Everyone was so excited.

Here are the top ten things I'm thankful for this year.

1. A loving and hard working husband. He will do anything to make sure me and the baby are taken care of.
2. A wonderful huge family that I love more than anything. Even though we are all spread out, AZ, CA, NV, IL, & UT every time we are all together again its as if we have never left.
3. Wonderful friends that I can count on.
4. My health
5. The ability to learn and be able to be in school.
6. The gospel for how much joy it brings to our life.
7. A wonderful mother I hope to be like

Last week I went out to Chicago to visit my fabulous sister. She just had Gwen about a week prior. Gwen is so adorable. She was such a good baby too. I liked it because I really just watched Jenna with this newborn. I couldn't believe that that will be me in May. I just watched her every move and observed. If I am as good as amom as Jenna, and If my baby is as good a Gwen I got it all under control. :-)
I got to play with Davis a lot. He is such a busy boy and hope my kids are as cute as he is. I had so much fun. Thanks Jenna and Dennis for letting me come out and visit. I love you and miss you.

Yay Month Four

I am a couple days away from being 4 months along. Everyone was right second trimester is way better than your first! I just got my weekly update of our baby. Our baby is a size of an apple with lots of developing happening.

On other baby news. Jenna just had a baby on Thursday. Gweneth Elise Crandall. She is beautiful. Everything with the c-section went perfect. I am going out there in a couple days to meet her. I'm so excited!! Check out the crandall blog to see pics of this little cutie.

The past couple months

I was talking to Jenna today and she said, Why don't you update your blog? My response was I haven't done anything lately. I have been eating a lot of fast food, felling sick, and sleeping. The past 2 weeks I have finally felt like myself again. Looking back the past two months have been such a blur or nothing. It feels good not to be sick.

The only really fun Halloween thing we have done was go pick out our pumpkins. It was fun. We went to a pumpkin patch and attached to it was a apple orchard. So we picked some apples too. They had the best Apple Cider ever too. I bought this huge thing of it and already drank it all. I don't think Garrett even had one class. sad thing is we haven't even craved them yet. I haven't even thought about Halloween other then today. I have been online seeing what fun thing we should do. So far I have come up with nothing. Maybe we will just rent movies and eat looks of fun things. I don't know. If anyone has any ideas on what to do in Utah let me know.
Another eventful thing happened on Tuesday. We received our first snow. Yeah that's right there was snow on the ground. It was so cold I thought I was going to die from frost bite. Now the highs have been in the 40's. Winter is here...
