Girls Trip

This past week and weekend all the girls from my side of the family came out and visited me. We had so much fun. We did everything from shopping, eating, walking everywhere, and relaxing by the beach. Another highlight Jaime brought the newest member of our Randall family, Lucy. It was much fun meeting her and getting to know her. Davis was here too and was as cute as ever. It was so much fun! Thanks for coming out and visiting me. I miss you guys and can't wait to see you soon.

General Conference

As I get older, General Conference is more of an exciting time than when I was younger. As I sat here and watched conference I began thinking of memories that came into my mind about different General Conference's over the years.

1. When I was younger, Brother Johnson's Conference Cake. (I was always so excited and determined to write down my five talks, but I never really even liked the ice cream roll we would get for doing this every year!)
2. Seminary days, you had to write down summaries of a certain amount of talks.
3. All our family being together in the Roca house. Getting in trouble by our Dad when one of us fell asleep.
4. Eating our Easter candy during the entire Sunday Session.
5. In college, how peaceful Provo is this weekend. The streets are empty, everyone is inside watching.
6. The incredible Conference Center. Being in Utah, you always come across tickets. Being their in person and feeling the spirit in that building is amazing.
7. One college year, we drove back from Vegas all night and we all were so tired during Sunday session.
8. Buttermilk syrup!!!!!
9. Afternoon walks after the first session was over.
10. Receiving these messages from our Prophet and apostles, and writing down all the things I need to do to better myself and our marriage.
11. Being together as a family.

MOVING . . .

Currently our entire house is in boxes. Don't ya love moving. Everything is going very well with us. We were so blessed to find a home for our little family. I guess being pet approved isn't the most common thing down in HB. We found a nice complex with mangers that fell in love with Duke. As long as he doesn't bark. We hope he continues to be the silent dag that we told the owners he is. Ever since we decided to move, we have watched blessing, after blessing take place to help us really move down there. We are so grateful and appreciative.
Tomorrow I am going down with Garrett to paint. I am so excited to add a little homey touch. My mom always uses the phrase, "A come on in house," yes, that is what I am painting. More like a come on in apartment. I'll post pictures of our new place soon.

The Big Move

Garrett and I get to start another adventure together. Garrett recently accepted a new job. He is the advertising director in a company called Lymabean. It is a social network that he is working for, and he helps create advertising and push the sales. You can check it out on lymabean.com if you are interested. He has never been more excited. We are truly blessed how things in our life just fall into place. With this job, everything seemed to work out perfectly. The office is out of Huntington beach. We are so excited to move down there. He officially started today. We will officially move down there within a month. We are just waiting for someone to want to rent out our apartment or we have to wait for our contract to run out. He will commute until them. We are so lucky and blessed to become part of such an amazing family lymabean has created. All their employees are so welcoming and very close. We are so excited to join the team.

The Young Ambassadors

Last night all the Fuller's went and watched BYU's Young Ambassadors. They performed at the community college in Valencia. We all were blown away. This musical/dance was amazing. They did a showcase of songs from America. They started with the 60's and then progressed by decades with different songs. They sang everything from Karol King, to the temptations, Brooks and Dunn, A Disney Medley, and finished off with Broadway songs. They did a couple songs from Wicked. That was incredible. Then they ended with Tarzan. At the very end, after we clapped, they all came together and sang a primary song acapella, "When ever I here the song of a bird..." It was beautiful and brought such a sweet spirit to the Auditorium . We all loved every minute of it. If you ever have the opportunity to watch them take it. I promise you want be let down.

The Past Two Months

I can't believe how fast time goes by sometimes. Here is kind of a summery of what the Fuller's have been up to. In February I went down to AZ with a surprise ticket from Garrett. It was so much fun. I got to spend time with my Mom, Jenna & Dennis and of course baby Davis. We had so much fun. We went shopping, out to dinner, and just hung out. It was a very fun trip. Here some pic.

My birthday day was very fun. My boss Denise and I went out to sushi, and got our toes done. It was a very fun day. Valentines day was fun as well. My best Valentines ever! I manage a bakery called, Babe's Dessert Bar. Valentines is one of our busiest day. I have learned a lot working in this Bakery. I learned how to create stuffed strawberries, stuffed supcakes, and eat a lot of red velvets. Speaking of red velvets, some friends of ours John and Stacy, took out to eat at Doughboys for dinner. I was reading their menu and noticed Oprah voted Doughboys Red velvet cake, her personal favorite. So of course we all had to try it.

We have been very luck with getting sweet tickets to go to different events. Garrett's company always has people trying to bribe them to take their busy, so they give them tickets to anything. We have been to a couple of Laker games. Those are really fun. The girls their just have binoculars and find what stars were their. It was pretty sweet. We saw of course Jack Nicholson, then Freddy Price Junior (where has he been lately) And Denzel Washington. Another event we went to was a Hockey game. We went and watched the Kings play. That was probably one of the most entertaining sporting event I have ever been to. I love Hockey now.

Another exciting thing, Shalyane and Clayton came out and visited last weekend. It was so fun seeing them. We did the typical, go out to eat, eat some more, and then go look at all the stuff we shouldn't buy. We did meet Elvis though. That was pretty sweet!!
The last part of my summery is why I have now found the time to catch up on my blog. We have recently inherited a new puppy. Meaning no more sleeping in for me. My mom got one and she then decided she wanted to give it to us. Now we have a new puppy named DUKE. Garrett and I love Duke. I am determined to break the Randall curse of giving every dog away after a few weeks. We are in the process of potty training him, so if you have any methods PLEASE let me know. No, I am not baby hungry, everyone keeps asking us. I can see why having a puppy could be on a small similar scale of having a kid, but we aren't. The only difference is we can lock Duke in the bathroom for the day while we are at work!
Hope everything is going well with everyone else. Here are some pics. of Duke.

Happy Valentines Day

I know that I haven't blogged much, but I couldn't let Valentines go by without saying something. I love this holiday and hope everyone had a good day. Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday and put the nicest comments on their blogs about me. Thank you again. Red Velvet Cupcakes have been my new favorite item this Valentine's. I have eaten so many of them. Happy Valentines Again.

Our first Christmas

I just wanted to update everyone on what the Fullers have been up to during the month of December to now. Sorry I haven’t been blogging much, but here is a slide show to update you. We had a wonderful Christmas here in California. We had a lot of family come out from both sides. All of Garrett’s siblings were out during Christmas, and then after my Mom and Martin came out and stayed with us. It was so much fun. We also got to see a couple of friends we haven't seen since we were all married. We went up to Bakersfield to see Devin, April and little baby Gavin Jolley, and we got to spend time with Carli and Kurt Turley. It was so much fun seeing everyone. We hope all of you guys had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

American Gladiators

Does Anyone Remember This Show?

Well apparently they are trying to bring this show back on the air. Yes, yes I know the questions you have are if ICE, VIPER, or BLADE are coming back too? Nope, they have new gladiators like SIREN, WOLF, and FURY.

Tonight we went to a shooting of this show. I thought it would be completely dumb and so staged like every other show out there, but I had the best time. This show is definitely not staged. We watched the ring challenge with Girls. Girls are so mean. They were slapping, and kicking each other in the face. The Gladiator would get so mad if they didn't win. It was so funny to watch. What this show does, for example, is they film four rounds of the ring challenge so they will have that challenge for four different episodes. Then they take down the set and make a new one for a new challenge, and then film four more challengers. I learned that in the film industry there is a lot of time wasted, and just sitting around. Each take took a good 5 minutes, but all the time in between took like 20 minutes.

Also the host was the one and only: Hulk Hogan

He was awesome to watch. He messed up on every take he did. Overall, it was a very fun and interesting night. Thanks Carrie for inviting us. Look in the audience of this show when it airs, Garrett and I may be in there cheering!

Happy Thanksgiving

Well another Thanksgiving has past by. This year was so fun. All the siblings came home to Arizona to celebrate. For Garrett & I, our Thanksgiving adventures started with a nice extended drive through LA. It took us 9 hours to make a 6 1/2 hour drive. Kill me now. Then on Thanksgiving day a bunch of us did the THANKSGIVING TURKEY TROT. After a long run we then ate two Thanksgiving dinners. It was such a fun weekend of seeing all our family and being able to spend time with one another. The highlight for the guys was the playing XBOX 360, band (I don't know the proper name for this game). My mom got this game for us. There were drums, a guitar, and a microphone to sing with. It was really fun. The boys really got in the 80's rock mode by rolling up their pants, and taking their shirts off.
Well, on Friday all the girls went shopping, of course. Then that night Garrett flew to San Jose to be at Tom Swapp's wedding. Congrats Tom and Ashley. Overall this Thanksgiving was very memorable. It is such a nice time of year to sit back and really think about what were thankful for. I realized how truly grateful I am for Garrett for all the love he has for me. I really don't know what or where I would be without him. I love my family and am so grateful that we all were able to be together.

Wow 6 months...

Well this Monday, which happened to be on my moms birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM, was our 6 month anniversary! I can't believe how fast that went by. I remember being at Carli's wedding and Rachel was telling me that it was around their 6 months. I remember thinking, wow that seems so far away for us. I can't believe you have been married for that long already.

Garrett, being the amazing husband he is surprised me with Jimmy Eat World tickets. We went a couple of weeks ago to celebrate. He knew I would start trying to ruin any surprise he had if it were closer to our anniversary. He first had my boss send me home from work early. I thought I was in trouble or something. Then when I got home Garrett told me to get dressed up and we were out the door. He took me out to eat at the Cheese Cake Factory, and then headed over to the concert. The concert was awesome. It was kinda weird not to have a Mesa reunion though. Usually those concerts are made up of all Mountain View Toros! To finish off our Anniversary, on Monday Garrett came home with a bouquet of flowers, with 6 roses in it. I love Garrett so much. Being married has taught me a lot about myself. I see now how truly blessed mine and Garrett's life is being able to be sealed forever. I love you

The new Jimmy CD is good. My favorites are #3 & 9.

Oh within this slide show of pics I put our Halloween ones in. Enjoy!!

Turkey Trot Anyone?

Does anyone want to do the turkey trot with me this Thanksgiving? I really want to do it and I have talked to a couple people who are doing it. I'm just putting this out because its November 2nd and wanted to give everyone enough time to prepare. The run is a 10k which is about 6 miles or so. The race is on November 22, Thanksgiving morning at 7:00 am. The website is below so you can register early if you are interested. I think it will be so fun, and we get t-shirts. Who doesn't like getting new t-shirts? We have 20 days to get ready.

Happy Halloween

Wow, I can't believe that Halloween just passed by. It feels like I was just in Utah, dressing up as Salt and Pepper with Garrett last year. This Halloween was a lot of fun. It was kinda weird not to see snow but I was definitely ok with that. This year we are trying to set up traditions. We started by carving pumpkins together. That was a lot of fun. I carved Franken Stein and Garrett carved a Pirate. We supported our ward at the annual trunk or treat shin dig. Finished it off on Halloween, by wanting to pass out candy, but we didn't have a single trick or treater, and watching scary movies. This is such a fun time of year. I did see one tree with yellow leaves; I guess fall here is a little different than Utah. I hope everyone had a fun Halloween. Sorry I don't have any pics, I left my camera at home. I am out visiting my mom in Az for the weekend. I ll post some when I get home.
